What to notice

Summary

This is the homepage of "Tal Com Pinta," a B2B distributor and wholesaler of pastry and bakery supplies based in Sant Fruitós de Bages, Barcelona. The site showcases a comprehensive catalog organized into major categories: Basics (frozen goods, coffee, margarines, jams, pastry products, chocolates), Complements (cardboard packaging, cake decoration), Raw Materials (fresh, nuts, basic ingredients), and Mixes (preparations and dough enhancers). It highlights featured products, brand partnerships (Labora, Fléchard, Ferrero, etc.), company values (25+ years of experience, 24h delivery, technical advisory), and includes a blog with industry-related articles.

Target audience

Professional bakers, pastry chefs, chocolatiers, and artisan bakery/cake shop owners operating in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia. The site is also aimed at culinary workshops and obradors (pastry and bakery workshops) looking for a reliable B2B supplier of raw materials, tools, and decoration products.

Key features

  • Extensive catalog: Organized into four main categories (Basics, Complements, Materials, Mixes) with deep sub-categories for pastry, chocolate, decoration, frozen goods, etc.
  • 24-hour delivery: Guaranteed delivery anywhere in the province of Barcelona.
  • Technical advisory service: Expert team provides specific technical advice and troubleshooting for each workshop/obrador.
  • Brand partnerships: Sells products from well-known brands such as Dekora, Ferrero, Fléchard, Labora, and Fruits Rouges & Co.
  • Bilingual website: Available in Catalan (primary) and Spanish.
  • Featured products section: Showcases specific items like almond flour, pine nuts, infusions, and coffee.
  • Industry blog: Publishes articles on pastry history, product introductions, and ingredient reports (e.g., spelt harvest report).
  • Legacy & experience: Over 25 years of experience in the sector.

Pain points

  • Difficulty sourcing specialized ingredients: Professional bakers need a reliable one-stop-shop for hard-to-find pastry and bakery supplies (specialty chocolates, margarines, stabilizers, cake decorations).
  • Time-sensitive replenishment: Bakeries need fast restocking to avoid production downtime; the 24-hour delivery promise directly addresses this.
  • Lack of technical support: Artisan bakers often face technical issues with doughs, creams, or chocolates and need expert advice to solve them quickly.
  • Logistics complexity: Managing multiple suppliers for different categories (fresh, frozen, dry goods, packaging) is inefficient; a unified distributor simplifies procurement.
