About Square One Media Hub

Square One Media Hub is the live and on-demand streaming platform of Square One, an audiovisual production company that runs digital events for large corporate clients. Mecexis has built it with them since 2020, across two very different generations of the product.

Organisers manage rooms, schedules, speakers and parallel sessions from a single dashboard, and each room has chat and moderated Q&A. A page builder creates a branded space for every event with its programme, speakers and sponsors, access control decides who can watch what, and events can run in several languages for international audiences. The second generation moved from a simple solution to a platform with automated deployments that serves thousands of simultaneous viewers.

It is built with Django and WebSockets on PostgreSQL, deployed with Docker on AWS and provisioned with Terraform. It is a private platform used for client events, so there is no public URL.
