Mecexis

The corporate website of Mecexis, a custom software and AI studio founded in 2012 in Manresa, near Barcelona. It presents the services, sectors, technologies and case studies of a team that has delivered more than 100 projects for more than 80 clients, from sports leagues and clinics to engineering firms and B2B distributors.

The site is built with Django and Wagtail and publishes every page in Catalan, Spanish and English through wagtail-localize, so editors manage the three versions from a single content tree. Each service and each case study carries its own structured data, which helps search engines and AI assistants understand what Mecexis does and for whom. The frontend uses Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js for a light, fast interface without a heavy JavaScript framework.

It runs in Docker on PostgreSQL, like most Mecexis projects, and doubles as a showcase of how the team builds editorial sites, with a clear page model, reusable content blocks and a publishing workflow that non-technical staff can use every day.
