ACB App

The official app of the ACB, the association that runs the Liga Endesa, Spain's top professional basketball league. Mecexis built the Flutter apps for iOS and Android and the Django backend on AWS that powers them, with a first release delivered in nine weeks and new phases since 2021.

Fans follow games in real time with automatic notifications of key moments, watch the best plays of the day as vertical Stories, vote for the official MVP awards of the Copa del Rey and the Liga Endesa, and play quizzes about ACB basketball to win prizes. ACB ID gives every fan a single account across all ACB digital products.

A modular admin panel lets the ACB communications team manage every screen of the app with reusable blocks, and Vimeo integration handles video. The platform has handled traffic peaks during the most intense moments of the season while keeping response times low.
